Student helpers
Congratulations to the students from Kangan Batman TAFE who have won the spot of Student Helpers for the conference.
We look forward to their contribution to the event and VALA would like to sincerely thank all the schools who applied for the position.
These students will be responsible for:
- Front-of-house and customer service
- Tasks associated with the running of the day
- Interaction with and support for presenters and display personnel.
These 11 students are currently studying at the Centre For Youth Broadmeadows Campus and are undertaking the Senior VCAL program which focuses on leadership skills and training for work readiness. Kangan is offering this program for the first time this year which sees Seniors explore a variety of industries and interests to further their opportunities in the workforce.
