Money - a new resource from Consumer
Affairs VictoriaConsumer Affairs Victoria recently sponsored Pocket Money, a special Age Education supplement, published on July 24. The supplement is a 12-page lift-out focussing on financial literacy and consumer issues. Charts the journey of creating an interactive integrated assessment task from conception to implementation using an engaging topic to address outcomes from several units. Young workers are more likely to be injured at work than any other age group in Victoria. WorkSafe Victoria has funded VALA to develop a comprehensive set of resources designed to educate young people between 15 – 19 years about OHS issues within the workplace. This session outlined the project and trialled and resources.
Claymation and Stopmotion Animation in the classroom

This session dealt with what equipment is needed for stop motion/claymation, software available, how to design basic characters, stop motion techniques, working with clay, basic set design and how to incorporate claymation/stop motion in the classroom.
