VALA has created a one stop collection of excellent resources for teachers.

Going mobile 
A mobile phone is a tool that most students will have with them when we enter the classroom. This short handout that brings together ideas, links and support sites for using mobiles to engage young learners in the classroom.
Animate and engage: A guide to creating simple animations
Learners build literacy skills by creating a script and checking for errors in credits, numeracy skills from taking and using measurements and teamwork skills through working together to create the animation. Support resources include suggested free software, IT hardware requirements, lists of required materials, links to internet resources and templates for storyboards.
