Induction Day

Helene RooksAs we are wrapping up our 2019 VCAL Induction Day we would like to thank all presenters for their time to share their passion for, and expertise in, the delivery of sound VCAL programs. We extend this thanks to their leadership team for releasing them for the day. Presentations are added to the website as they become available.

Congratulations to Viv Ditcham from St. Bede’s College for taking home the raffle prize provided by RSA for Schools. We are sure 20 of your students will enjoy and gain great skills during the 4 hr advanced hospitality training.

We have found a lovely little bracelet in room 8. If you think this is yours, please get in contact with Helene. We’d love to return it to its owner.

To all participants at Induction Day - all the best for your VCAL journey and don’t hesitate to contact us anytime!

Road to Zero resource

Last week I had the pleasure to visit and experience the recently opened, state-of-the-art, Road to Zero experience located at the Melbourne Museum. The Road to Zero experience is truly engaging, hands-on and thought provoking It offers FREE programs for up to 2 hours, addressing PDS, LIT and NUM outcomes. Additional VCAL resources for follow through/extension will become available in a few weeks. Highly recommended! More information and an invite to experience the Road to Zero yourself are further in this eNews.

With warm regards,

Helene Rooks
