MORE INFORMATION

One of the main objectives of the Senior Secondary Reform is to raise the quality and reputation of Vocational and Applied Learning programs within schools, community and the workplace.

Now, 18 months in, we will hear and learn from educators, principals and experts in the field!

  • ·       How do you advocate for your VAL students.
  • ·       What strategies work (or perhaps didn't work).
  • ·       How do you promote your VAL programs to students, parents, colleagues, school leadership and community?
  • ·       How do you ensure your VAL students are treated and considered equal to their traditional VCE peers?
  • ·       How do you celebrate student success?
  • ·       What kind of projects and programs really hook your students into learning?

There are so many factors which can contribute to the design and delivery of outstanding VAL programs, many of these will be covered at this year’s Annual Conference ‘Thinking AdVocationally’.
